About the program
Coach Norvell Camps brings players to Florida State to work with Mike Norvell and the Seminoles football staff across a summer schedule that covers almost every way a football camp can be run. Big Man Camp puts offensive and defensive linemen through fundamentals and one-on-one competition, in pads, with athletic testing. Individual Camp is a one-day non-contact camp across every skill position, with players grouped by age and ability. Quarterback Camp and Specialist Camp each work a single position group. The 7-on-7 High School Camp runs teams through pool play and single elimination with referees. The Youth Camp sells out. Six formats means six different sets of requirements. Big Man campers bring helmets and shoulder pads; quarterbacks don’t. Start times run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on the camp, each with its own arrival window. Every participant has to submit a release of liability before stepping on the field. And a camp at this scale fills fast, so registration has to hold up on the day it opens.
How they use Camp Network
Each camp is set up as its own session with its own date, price, capacity and questions, so a quarterback and a lineman answer different things and arrive with the right gear at the right hour. Liability releases are signed during registration rather than collected at check-in, and sessions close themselves when they reach capacity — which is how the Youth Camp shows “SOLD OUT” without anyone updating the site by hand.
